Delete your account and your data

You can delete your Sanctuary account, and everything on it, yourself at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. 1. Open Sanctuary and go to your Profile.
2. 2. Open Settings (the "..." menu).
3. 3. Choose Delete Account and follow the steps. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.

What is deleted

Your login, your profile, and your posts, photos, videos, comments, collections and other content are permanently deleted, including the files stored with our hosting provider. The deletion is completed within seventy-two (72) hours. It cannot be undone.

Where an account was closed for severe harassment, predatory behaviour or a serious breach of the Terms, we may keep limited moderation records solely to enforce platform bans and for legal defence. This is described in our Privacy Policy.

If you cannot open the app

Email thesukunlife@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it is you and delete the account and its data.

A copy of your data first

In the app, Settings > Your data > Download my data gives you a file with the information we hold about you.
